I agree with Sadboy. Depression is something that's more stable and regular. Happiness has so many different variations that you can always capture it from a different angle. Sadness is very steady, and quite often the same, it just goes to various extremes.
But happiness has so many different ways of expressing itself, even.

don't worry - you're not alone I'm an extremely upbeat enthusiastic person but almost all my poems are dark and gloomy and upsetting my friends are always a little shocked the first time they read one of mine
anywho, it's really good and I like how you carry the "for you" through the whole poem. it really helps to tie everything together.

I agree, the sad ones are usually a lot easier to write. But, who wants to read about sunshine and happiness, right? They want to read something they can relate to so they know they're not alone in this world. You did very well writing this. I like the repitition of the title and the overall effect of the whole poem. It gave me something to think about. :]

Sad poems are the easiest to write. Even if I'm happy, I can never come up with a decent happy poem. But the sad ones always work.

I don't think I've read anything that's hit me as hard as that line...I don't know if that's based on truth, but let me tell you, it's the most raw and true thing I've ever read.

Love it, although sad, lovely.
You should write a book.
It would be great if it had a sad ending
Not like the other books.
