DO NOT USE THIS PIECE ANYWHERE WITHOUT MY WRITTEN PERMISSION. serious consequences will occur.

I don`t know why all my poems turn out so gloomy.

I think the sad ones are easier to write. Or something.

that's because sadness is more stable and regular in life.
the sadboy

I agree with Sadboy. Depression is something that's more stable and regular. Happiness has so many different variations that you can always capture it from a different angle. Sadness is very steady, and quite often the same, it just goes to various extremes.

But happiness has so many different ways of expressing itself, even.

Jeez. Your stories and poems always make me want to take the characters into my arms and hold them.

We lie beneath the sea, stars lapping at our feet. I lie to you; you lie to me; we lie beneath the sea.

See?

don't worry - you're not alone
I'm an extremely upbeat enthusiastic person but almost all my poems are dark and gloomy and upsetting
my friends are always a little shocked the first time they read one of mine

anywho, it's really good and I like how you carry the "for you" through the whole poem. it really helps to tie everything together. =D

one more, from me to you.
Love it, although sad, lovely.

You should write a book.
It would be great if it had a sad ending
Not like the other books.

I agree, the sad ones are usually a lot easier to write. But, who wants to read about sunshine and happiness, right? They want to read something they can relate to so they know they're not alone in this world.
You did very well writing this. I like the repitition of the title and the overall effect of the whole poem. It gave me something to think about. :]

make a map of what you see; direct pain effectively.

Sad poems are the easiest to write.
Even if I'm happy, I can never come up with a decent happy poem.
But the sad ones always work.

"That night I made myself scars to match yours.
It didn’t hurt as much as I wanted."

I don't think I've read anything that's hit me as hard as that line...I don't know if that's based on truth, but let me tell you, it's the most raw and true thing I've ever read.

Oh my god, why can I not write like this?

This is so beautiful.

And i write sadness better as well, it comes to me easier. But I can't write near as good as you.

:heart::heart::heart:!!!!!
