i know this isn't really ' prose ', nor is it well-written, but it is sure as hell nonfiction.
sasha is my adopted little sister. abandoned in a field and left for dead, she's a child shaped by the shadows and traumas of her past - traumas that were nobodys faults, but have been left behind as burdens for everyone. sashas life before we adopted her was an empty void that's clearly shown through her cheerless expression. we'll never know anything but the sparse details we were handed when she came to us, but it's clear that her past was one of a rather dismal nature.
despite the love we've offered, her past molded her into a broken little girl. her sadness is one that cannot be mended with mere threads of love and compassion, but we're willing to do whatever it takes.
sorry if this one's weird or something. it's just something really personal to me and i wanted to write it down somewhere.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
