When I first saw this shot, I immediately fell in love with the beautiful tones and the awesome focus on the straw. The composition is great as well, and the colors are eye catching, but not in a loud 'look at me!' fashion, which works well for the photo. The vignetting is nicely done as well, giving the viewer a general idea of where the edges of the cup are. It is a playful and thought-provoking image, especially when coupled with the title (A World Underwater). It reminds me personally of childhood and fascination with little things such as fizzy soda and carbonation bubbles.

My only suggestions are perhaps cropping the image a little differently to show more of the straw, perhaps cutting off a bit more of the sides. I don't know how different this is from the raw image, but the photo may have more impact if it were more vertical as opposed to horizontal.

Overall, it is a very pleasing and cute image! I like that it is a straw that is pictured as opposed to the very common carbonated fruit/cherry shots. (:
